罗西尼音乐学院爵士吉他专业介绍_课程设置

爵士吉他也叫匹克吉他，面板和背板都呈弧形，琴颈细而长，面板中间没有圆孔。而是在面板两侧各开一个f形孔。爵士琴一般都是使用带共鸣箱的电吉他，这样的电琴在音色调整上，音色效果靠后，成为厚重柔软的音色。

本科

1.申请资格

16-30岁；音乐学校 ，学院附中，艺术学校，普通高中学生，希望考取音乐学院的在校生、毕业生。

3.入学考试

Test 1：

1) Performance of two musical pieces, one chosen by the candidate and one by the commission among five pieces presented. Pieces may be played in duo, trio, quartet or with pre-recorded accompaniment and shall be selected among the following list: • Autumn Leaves • There Will Never Be Another You • Billie’s Bounce • Blue Bossa • Blue Monk • Lady Bird • Satin Doll • Scrapple From The Apple • I’ve Found A New Baby • Sweet Georgia Brown • Indiana • East Of The Sun (And West Of The Moon) • Don’t Get Around Much Anymore • In A Mellow Tone • All Of Me

2) Performance of a standard, harmonized for solo guitar.

3) Sight-reading of a melody on the instrument.

4) Sight-reading of English notation chords.

5) Performance of a major scale on at least seven positions of the fingerboard and triad melodic arpeggios.

6) Intervals’ view on the fingerboard.

7) Knowledge of every note on all guitar postitions.

The commission reserves the right to interrupt the audition at any moment.

Test 2：

1) Sight-reading solfège, with syllables, on the treble clef. Difficulty level: complex rhythmics appropriate to the instrumental or vocal repertoire up until the 1900s.

2) Sight-reading solfège, with syllables, on the seven clefs. Medium difficulty

3) Sight-singing of a melodic solfège. Short modulations and transposition (one note up or down).

4) Music dictation of a short melody with accidentals.

5) General music theory questions.

N.B.: candidates will be exempted from the latter test if awarderd with a TRPM (Theory, rhythmic and music perception) level A certification of preparatory courses (Preaccademico) issued by Conservatorio Rossini or by one of its certified partner schools, or if awarded with “Licenza di Solfeggio” certification of old-degree system (vecchio ordinamento) issued by any recognized Institution.

Test 2 (Piano practice)：

A basic knowledge of the piano is also requested. It will be verified by the performance of an easy chord progression or the performance of a blues theme or similar, played with right hand while playing an easy accompaniment with left hand.

Instrument technique test:

1) Performance of the full etude n. 1 from Warm Up Etudes by Pat Metheny.

2) Harmonic knowledge over Shell Voicings, Drop 2 e Drop 3.

3) Harmonization skills on a sight-reading melody line and use of it on any jazz standard or original.

4) Knowledge of modes built on major scale.

5) Blues jazz knowledge and demonstration of harmonic structures and reharmonization solutions.

6) Knowledge of melodic and harmonic minor scale, and related modes and harmonic progressions.

7) Performance of dimineshed and whole tone scale.

8) Performance of 4 parts diatonic arpeggios on ascending, descending and broken mode. Related to the harmonization of the aforementioned scales.

9) Improvisation performance on classical, modern and advanced jazz structures.

Improvisation and sight-reading test:

1) Sight-reading and improvisation on a jazz music piece among the following list, chosen by the commission (standard and originals), and on one chosen by the candidate.

2) Performance of a medium-difficulty solo transcription, published or composed by the candidate.
